Lake Rudolph Named Top Park in Three State Area

SANTA CLAUS, IN---Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in Santa Claus, Indiana is listed as the highest rated privately owned RV park in Indiana, Kentucky, & Illinois according to the 2008 edition of Trailer Life RV Parks, Campgrounds & Services Directory.  Field inspectors from Trailer Life visited Lake Rudolph during the 2007 season ranking the park on a scale of 1 to 10 in 3 categories: 

1.         Completeness of facilities (including roads, sites, services, hookups & recreation)
2.         Cleanliness and physical characteristics of restrooms and showers
3.         Visual appearance and environmental quality (including building maintenance, trash   disposal, park setting, & site layout)

Lake Rudolph earned a 9.5 rating in all 3 categories.  Less than 1% of parks in the United States receive a rating of 10.  No other parks in Indiana, Kentucky, & Illinois ranked as high as Lake Rudolph.

Lake Rudolph also received the highest possible ratings from the 2008 Woodall’s North American Campground Directory.  On a scale of 1W to 5W in two categories, Lake Rudolph scored a 5W in both Facilities and Recreation.  According to Woodall’s, the 5W/5W rating reflects an investment in the physical development of the park and its personnel, recreation programs and superior maintenance of a park’s facilities. Each campground in the directory receives an on-site inspection by a Woodall’s field representative team. 

Only 251 parks out of 8,000 campgrounds listed in the Woodall’s directory have earned the highest and most coveted designation of 5W/5W.  Only 2 other RV parks in Indiana, one park in Illinois, and no parks in Kentucky received the highest rating.
