| Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve in Fremont exists to honor and preserve the land, the buffalo and the people. The preserve is situated on over 400 sacred acres of rolling Indiana prairie land with natural water ways, lakes and birds. It is a privately owned working ranch dedicated to the preservation of the North American Bison.
Wild Winds is home to approximately 200 Bison and you can interact with the herd without leaving the open air vehicles. These magnificent representatives of our nation’s evolution are socially dynamic and teach us all with their patient ways. Every season is a new event in the herd. The next season in May and June is the season of new babies!!
Tours run Wednesday thru Sunday. Tour Times are every hour on the hour beginning at 10 am and last one leaving at 3 pm. Costs are $8 per person and $5 for children 10 years old and under.
