Whether you’re just passing through central Indiana or you plan on spending a few days, the Yogi Bear Jellystone Park outside of Knightstown makes a great stop.  Just 25 miles east of Indianapolis and ½ mile north of I-70, this campground is conveniently located to Indianapolis, historic Knightstown and the Old National Road.

Offering 135 sites (including 40’x80’ full hookup pull-through sites) and camping cabins, there’s a site for every type of RV.  And with two playgrounds, a game room, a swimming pool and paddleboat rental there is an activity for everyone.  Their activity program includes daily activities during the summer and theme weekends throughout the camping season.  There is even an on-site recreation of an 1860’s gold miner’s camp.  The park provides free panning lessons and rental equipment so anyone can try to strike it rich.

Situated on nearly 40 acres of Midwestern prairie, Jellystone Park Indianapolis / Knightstown features a stream and fishing hole.  This award-winning campground has been rated as one of the best campgrounds in the state by both Woodall’s and Trailer Life.
