Indiana Campground Named one of America’s Top 100

The CampingClub.com has released its list of America’s top 100 family campgrounds and the Tipsaw and Indian-Celina Lake Recreation Area in the Hoosier National Forest in was the only Indiana park named on the list.

The campground on the 131 acre Tipsaw Lake has just 35 sites and is open from mid-May to mid-October.   It is located 6 miles south of I-64 off SR 37 in St. Croix, Indiana.  For more information about the recreation area, visit:  http://www.perrycountyindiana.org/

The "Top 100 Family Campgrounds" were selected based on criteria requested by family campers including park amenities, beautiful outdoor scenery, and educational facilities. The criteria included parks that offer hot showers, laundry facilities, hiking trails, family beaches, radio - free zones, visitor centers, educational programs, children's events, and that are located within 100 miles of a metro location.
