Indiana Designates New Byway |
The Indiana Department of Transportation, with support from Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman, recently announced the designation of a new state scenic byway: the River Road Scenic Byway in Tippecanoe County.
Drive the 13-mile River Road Scenic Route in Tippecanoe County for beautiful natural landscapes and the cityscape of West Lafayette. The Wabash River follows the byway at nearly every turn providing a means of water recreation and scenic beauty.
Along with scenic attributes, the byway has cultural and historical significance and feature tourism assets and amenities. The River Road Scenic Byway also links urban areas with key Native American sites. |
